Wayne Wall Named Rust Circle Boss for the 2026 Great Florida Cattle Drive
The 2026 Great Florida Cattle Drive is proud to announce Wayne Wall as this year’s Rust Circle Boss. A sixth-generation beef cattle producer. His family has raised cattle in Bradford County for generations. He proudly carries forward Florida’s ranching tradition.
Wall is a U.S. veteran and a dedicated volunteer at the Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch. Wayne has devoted his life to service—both to his country and his community. Additionally, he has also played an important role in the preparation clinics. Leading up to the drive, the committee hosted four clinics to prepare riders for this once-in-a-lifetime journey.
For the past 25 years, Wayne has worked with the Florida Forest Service, bringing the same dedication and integrity that define his life in agriculture. Beyond his day job, he’s spent 45 years as a horse trainer and 40 years as a farrier, mastering the art of horsemanship from the ground up. He will be one of the farriers on the ride.
A true cowboy at heart, Wayne loves the history and heritage celebrated by the Great Florida Cattle Drive. He’s passionate about preserving Florida’s cow-hunter traditions and ensuring they live on for future generations. Wayne lives in Starke, Florida, where he trains horses, crafts beautiful hand-plaited cow whips, and enjoys time with his wife and three sons.
Thank you to Wayne for his dedication to this tradition as he serves as the Rust Circle Boss for 2026.
