The Great Florida Cattle Drive welcomes Domingo Hernandez as the Buckskin Circle Boss for the 2026 drive, bringing with him a lifetime of service, leadership, and dedication to tradition.
Domingo proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard before transitioning into a career in federal law enforcement with the United States Secret Service. His career was defined by commitment, discipline, and service, culminating in his retirement in 2014.
Beyond his professional career, Domingo has long been connected to the heritage and spirit of the Great Florida Cattle Drive. He participated in the 1995 150th Anniversary Cattle Drive, again in 2006, and returned in 2022. Over the years, he has also taken part in wagon train rides and trail rides, further strengthening his ties to Florida’s cowboy traditions.
From Miami, Florida, Domingo represents the wide reach of the cattle drive’s legacy—bringing together individuals from all backgrounds who share a respect for history, horsemanship, and the Cracker Cowboy way of life.
